Art
Jane Green turned recently to painting and other more diverse forms of art practice. These include photography, print making, assemblages and photo montages. She has a lively interest it the History of Modern Art. See also www.spinneygreen.co.uk

Current work
Her most recent work is an attempt to escape from the discipline of the rectangular and square frames of easel painting and explore the effect that none traditional picture shapes have on content and presentation. She uses multiple images to display sequences and narrative, and mind maps to log methodology and history. This work is in particular reference to the human experience of architectural spaces.

Exhibitions
Jane has exhibited at the RWA Autumn Exhibition, the City of Southampton Open, the Black Swan Arts, Frome, the St Barbe Summer Exhibition, Lymington, the Royal Bath and West Show, the Best of Hampshire Artists at Hillier Gardens, Romsey, and Mall Galleries, London.

The future
Jane will be embarking on a MA Fine Art at Winchester School of Art in October. This will be an in depth study of architectural subject matter. It will look at the work of contemporary architects including Steven Holl and Peter Zumthor in the context of phenomenology as documented in the works of philosophers Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty.
