Jane Green
Jane Green is an Architect, Artist and eccentric cake maker. At school her ambition was to be an artist but she was convinced by her father, a research scientist and nuclear physicist that she should train for a proper job. She therefore became an architect, travelled the world and after working for a number of name practices ran her own for twenty five years.
She retired in 2003 and then took to free form design, working in many media: painting, film, photography, installation, collage and cake. She completed the OU course on twentieth century art and has an MA (Fine Art) from Winchester School of Art. Her architectural knowledge informs much of her work.
